Browsing data: the systems running the website automatically record certain technical data, such as IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser and operating system, solely to ensure the website works properly and securely.
Data you provide: name, email address, phone number and message content when you write to or call the practice.
Statistical data: only with your consent, collected through Google Analytics as described in the Cookie policy.

Purposes and legal bases

Website operation and security: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Replying to requests and preparing quotes: pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Tax and accounting obligations, if you become a client: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Visit statistics: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which may be withdrawn at any time.

Recipients

Data are processed by the controller and, on its behalf, by the technical service providers acting as processors: Netlify, Inc. (website hosting), Aruba S.p.A. (domain and email) and, only with your consent, Google Ireland Limited (statistics). Data may be disclosed to authorities where required by law and are not published or sold to third parties.

Transfers outside the European Union

Netlify and Google may process data in the United States. Transfers are based on the EU-US adequacy decision (Data Privacy Framework) or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Retention

Browsing data: for the strictly necessary technical period set by the hosting provider.
Messages and contacts: for as long as needed to handle the request and no longer than 24 months, unless an assignment follows.
Tax and accounting documents: 10 years, as required by law.
Statistical data: 14 months.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, object to processing and withdraw your consent by writing to michel.pinto@k-watt.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
